Warranty

SLK Home warrants its furniture against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, in residential, non-commercial use.

What is covered

Component	From delivery
Structural components — frame and metal or solid-wood structural elements	2 years
Soft materials and workmanship — leather, foam, cushioning, stitching, threading, piping, buttons, rubber components and glued parts	1 year

The soft materials period applies to products that include them. Tables, desks and vanities are covered under the structural term.

If a manufacturing defect is found, SLK Home supplies the replacement part and covers labour and shipping at no cost to you. Lead times for replacement parts are confirmed when a claim is approved.

What is not covered

• Accidental and external damage — cuts, punctures, tears, scratches and scuffs, and damage caused by pets, children, sharp objects, or unsuitable cleaning products
• Misuse, excessive use, or not following the care guidance
• Normal wear — cushions softening, leather stretching and creasing, patina developing
• Fading, staining and marks acquired in use
• Outdoor use, and damage from sun, water, freezing, pests or mildew
• Consequential or incidental damage
• Clearance and open-box items, which are sold as-is

Natural materials

Leather is a natural material. Variation in colour, grain, texture, pores and healed marks are characteristics of genuine hide, not defects. Light creasing and softening with use are normal.

Making a claim

Email service@slkhome.com with your proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs or video.

Limits

Coverage applies to the original purchaser and ends if the furniture is sold or otherwise transferred. This warranty applies to products sold and located in Canada and the United States.
